I've always wanted a place to work on projects - a workshop, studio, maker space and garden. Here it is, and some notes on how it came to be.

In the Beginning

I found this intriguing property tucked away in the Interbay Industrial area of Seattle, Washington. When I first came across it, it was the home and studio of a local sculptor, John Geise. However, it looked a little different than it does today.
